Finally emerging from their winter slumber, thousands of bright red
tulips now add a much-needed spot of spring color to Delancey's
bustling street. Courtesy of the Lower East Side BID, several thousand
bulbs were planted on the street's median in the dark days of
November, and are now welcoming the warmer weather to our streets.
Part of our overall effort to beautify the neighborhood, we are
looking forward to additional attractive planting in this often
overlooked greenspace.
