Website Development Grant
The Website Development Grant Program provides a matching grant of up to 50% percent of the cost of creating or upgrading your business’ web site. The maximum grant available under the program is $300 per merchant, and each merchant is eligible for only one grant. The Lower East Side BID’s Board of Directors awards grants on a competitive basis.
Website-related costs that are eligible under this program:
- New website design (only to be paid once the website is up and running)
- Expanded website services/content of existing website
- Improved graphics/added photos on existing website
To receive the grant, which will be disbursed as a reimbursement, the merchant must submit a dated receipt marked “paid in full” and/or a cancelled check. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for the grant prior to undertaking their website creation/development, and must provide a link to the Lower East Side BID’s website, www.lowereastsideny.com.
Free Links to the Lower East Side BID’s website are offered to all businesses with websites. Grants will not be available for businesses that do not have a physical presence within the Lower East Side BID’s boundaries.
