The two-hour tour highlights the integral role that the shopping district has played in the history and development of the Lower East Side. Sundays at 11 a.m (April - December). Meet in front of Katz's Delicatessen at the corner of East Houston and Ludlow Streets.

Orchard Street Pedestrian Mall

Every Sunday, Orchard St. is closed to traffic from Delancey to E. Houston, allowing merchants to bring their merchandise out onto the street. This unique walk-through market experience is fun for shoppers of all ages and tastes, whether the quest is for the perfect leather jacket or a one of a kind Chinese tea pot.

Free Parking

Complimentary three-hour parking for cars and motor coaches is available with validation from participating businesses at a secure, attended facility on Broome Street between Norfolk and Suffolk. The parking lot is open 24 hours 7 days; Reasonable Daily rates also apply.
