Tues. - Fri. 11am - 6pm, Sat. & Sun. 12 - 6pm

CollectiCo is a contemporary pop-up fine art gallery with a few artisan-made objects, too.  Central ideas of the show concern collection and abundance.  Frequent curatorial rotation of the work will generate ineffable echoes of the best experiences in New York; being at the right place at the right time.  Works on paper, limited edition prints, photographs, small paintings and objects by 16 artists are exhibited through Dec. 28, 2012.  Watch for details about our holiday party in early December!

Draft Space

162 Allen

DRAFTspace is an alternative pop-up art space. We rent vacant storefronts on the Lower East Side of New York City for the short term, temporarily converting them into pop-up art spaces and providing them to emerging artists to showcase their works. We seek a better way to transform underutilized urban spaces into vibrant culture spots.

We're committed to providing an experimental platform in which artists can showcase their works outside of the system of mainstream commercial galleries. We hope that hundreds of artists will benefit from the exposure and support at DRAFTspace and that our perpetual pop-up series will grow into an archive of footage that preserves a record of cultural notables as it evolves over time.

Tomlinson Kong Contemporary

270 Bowery New York City, NY 10012

212 966 3566

Mon-Fri: 11AM - 6PM Sat: noon - 5PM

Tomlinson Kong Contemporary is an art gallery dedicated to supporting the work of established and emerging international artists. Tomlinson Kong Contemporary opened in September 2011 with an inaugural exhibition of work by Markus Linnenbrink, and began with the representation of four artists, Ken Fandell, Johannes Girardoni, Christopher Kurtz, and Mr. Linnenbrink, with intentions to expand to include a thoughtfully-curated stable of artists working in a variety of media. With plans to exhibit in the international art fairs as well as presenting up to six exhibitions of new work a year, Tomlinson Kong Contemporary will be firmly situated in the energetic and ever-expanding New York City art world in its location near the The New Museum and the leading galleries located on Bowery and in the Lower East Side.
Tomlinson Kong Contemporary was founded by the same team behind Artware Editions, the hybrid gallery/design showroom founded in 2006 that is a leading voice in the art/design convergence. The co-founders, Rebecca Kong and Jon Tomlinson, together have a diverse background in the arts. Ms. Kong, the former director of such prestigious galleries as Donald Young Gallery and Alan Koppel Gallery, both in Chicago, and Peter Freeman, Inc., New York, received her MA from The University of Chicago in art history and philosophy and has published on the work of Rodney Graham. Prior to moving to New York City, Mr. Tomlinson owned Flipside Arts in San Francisco, which specialized in collaborating with mostly Bay Area artists to create functional objects. He returned to this interest as Director of A/D Gallery in New York City before opening Artware Editions. He has a BA in English literature and philosophy after studying at Michigan State University and Roehampton Institute in London.
