Lower East Side BID Launches New Consumer Website

New York, NY…..The Lower East Side Business Improvement District (LES BID) announces the launch of its redesigned website, providing extensive and up-to-date information for shopping, dining, nightlife, and tourism. The new site can been seen at www.LowerEastSideNY.com.

The new site features homepage photography generously donated by Lower East Side photographer Jay Maisel. Mr. Maisel is recognized as one of the top natural-light color photographers in the world.

The new site includes a number of features that provide valuable information for everyone from the visiting tourist to the life-long New Yorker, include:

  • an interactive, searchable map of the Lower East Side to help quickly find restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and shops, services and points of interest
  • Lower East Side guides, including the Go East! Neighborhood Guide and the Lower East Side Gallery Guide and Map
  • a calendar of events in the Lower East Side
  • the latest Lower East Side news and information
  • a “Top Five” list of things to do in the Lower East Side
